I recently listed a home at 8014 Brienne Drive in the Cat Hollow subdivision. Rather than posting a number of still photos, I decided to create a video walkthrough tour instead. Sure, I have pictures on the MLS, but for my blog, I thought this would be more informative. Sorry for the wind noise in the first few seconds of footage. :-)
Enjoy:

Looks like a lovely unit Jason! I'm sure the sellers will love you when you sell it quickly!
I love the personalized tour Jason! Good luck for a quick sale on this one!
Nice tour Jason. I need to use my Flip more often!
Hi Jason, Great presentation with the personal tour! Nicely done. Good luck and best wishes that it will sell soon.
Good morning Jason,
This is a very nice presentation of your new listing. I should start using my Flip more than what I am. Thanks for the nudge.
Thanks for your comments. I am planning to do 5 more of these videos for our new listings this next week. I need to figure out why it turned out so narrow. My source file looks wider. Must be something to do with the aspect ratio?
Andrew - Thanks for the suggestion! Much appreciated -
Nice presentation, Jason, on a great property. Far more effecgtive than a bunch of photos in some ways. I always do both as well adn put them on my custome sites for each listing. Andrew's suggestion seems like a good one - wonder if it works on a Flip?
Jeff
Jeff - I need to figure that out. My camera is a Creative Vado (similar to a Flip, but with a flexible USB connection, since my toddler broke the Flip one). Thanks for your input!
I was surprised to hear your refer to the Mannington flooring as "hardwood" as opposed to Laminate. Is that typical for your area? In Idaho, I would expect to have to replace flooring that I marketed as "hardwood" that were not solid oak, hickory or something.
Congrats on using video on your listings though.
Jeff..you need a shoe for the external mic plug in. Had to get one for a older Sony video camera and ended up only Germany had one as an after market choice. Not Sony. Worth it though. New video HDs have direct plug..someone got thru to the designers in Santa's workshop I guess. I don't think the FLIP has that provision. The FLIP is too small for fitting in your paws, for a weighted, leveling leverage and smooth pans without a tripod. And that is why coupled with fast turns, twists, the blowing wind tunnel drowning out your audio that it gives you the up and down, reach to pop a couple Dramamine ritual.
