Today, I stumbled across a video that is probably my favorite YouTube selection of all time. It's infectious, fun, and I see something new every time I see it. Additionally, it never fails to bring a smile to my face, so I hope it brightens your day. I am posting a version with "heck" in the title in case you want to share it. The original version has been viewed about 29 million times.
I won't ruin it by explaining every nuance here, but I will point out that watching this piece gives me hope for humanity. It's just plain fun, too. :-) Frankly, it makes me wish I'd thought of it first, and it inspires me with its creativity.
There are three versions (different years) - this is the most recent iteration, and it took 14 months to make. I bet you can't watch it just once. Make sure you watch it in its entirety - there are some clever and amazing parts.
Enjoy:

I've seen the video, but it's definitely worth sharing! Always brings on a smile. :) Have a great weekend.
Fun, and happy. And I was happy to see it end in Seattle.
Matt must have some SERIOUS frequent flyer miles!! Every tongue, tribe and people...what a beautiful picture of the diversity...and the common thread we share. Love it!
Matt, new to me...pretty cool not sure what to say but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I've seen it and am thrilled to have it to watch again. The Indian girls (check Matt's fingers), the little kids in various shots and a couple of dogs all are great. Thanks for posting.
Jason - I saw Matt's first video. His videos and travel across the world keeps getting better and better. It's a great way to see the world - for him and us.
I have never seen it. If is fabulous. I love the New Guinea one best. Isn't that were the cannibals are? Thanks for posting it Jason.
Good morning Jason,
This just goes to show that there isn't a place in the world that you can't find someone or something to dance with, even underwater or in space.
Thanks fro sahring this. . I had a smile all teh way to teh end.
I watched an awesome concert last night from South Africa and the feeling is the same. . the world is united and a lot closer than most people think. . don't forget today. US vs England !!

Look at all of the gorgeous/fascinating places I haven't been to. Makes me want to travel and go make some money to get there. Thanks for sharing, love it
Jason,
That is really great and yup I had to watch it again :) Thanks for sharing..........You could do your own on a smaller scale all around Austin.....that would be a neat idea! Highlight the great people and places of Austin....
:)
That is amazing! Thanks for the post and a few great ideas, too...
Jason,
I never saw it before .... thanks for sharing.
First time I have seen this, but it sure makes you smile doesn't it. Thanks for sharing
I saw this on your facebook page and thought it was awesome. I remember seeing a vide on youtube of a guy who had taken a facial picture everyday in the same place for over 10 years and then turned it into a video. Very cool! I wish I had this kind of imagination, but I think the Marine Corps smacked it out of me. :)
Dance and the word dances, sings, joins you. No matter how large the crowd, setting, location, you see the one Matt stand out, dancing alone, in a group, to his own drum that is infectious. There is a sermon here.
Wow, I expected something more choreographed so I was initially confused. This was a fun and feel-good video; thank you for sharing it here. I wouldn't have found it otherwise.
Jason: Wow. That was crazy good! Glad I held on to the end -- totally easy to do, and totally worth it!
Thanks for the video. I will bookmark this and watch it later today. It is too early in the morning to watch it right now.
What fun Jason!! I would definitely join in if I saw a group of folks dancing with such abandon and good will!! So much fun! xxoo
Morning Jason, thanks for the smiles and lighthearted way to start my day! This is really infectious!
I didnt notice this video you posted before. I happened to come across it because someone reblogged it. This was video is very cool. I found it about a year ago, posted from someone on Twitter I believe. Makes you want to travel. Its a great idea to be dancing all over the world. Very creative and memorable.
