If you are considering listing your home, you owe it to yourself to call me first. Perhaps we are not the best fit for you, in which case I will tell you this, rather than trying to make the square peg fit into the round hole, like some agents.
I have been in Austin real estate full-time for almost 12 years now. There are certainly others who have sold more homes than I have, but you would be hard-pressed to find an agent with more integrity than me. I would rather talk you out of a home purchase or an offer on your home than to assist you in making a bad decision.

What are you thoughts on lake front properties? I have several people who have brought this up mentioning the long term investment. Just curious. One of my old mentors is moving that way to take advatage of that specific opportunity.

Greg - I think that there are some awesome opportunities on the water here (both on Lake Travis and Lake Austin). The prices are a lot higher than they used to be when I started back in 1997, but they have dropped slightly with the current market. This is one of the most consistent areas to find homes that are appreciating. I would love the chance to help your mentor! We are very familiar with the waterfront areas.

Jason, you must be centrally located. I try to stay within an hour from my house and that doesn't even put me in to Houston.
Our office is centrally located, but I live on the north side of town. However, an hour from my house here will cover pretty much everything on the list above.
