What a wonderful friend!!!

Sending my prayers.

We spoke for awhile about the challenges ahead for Liz, and she has a terrific attitude, which is probably more than half the battle.

Yes.  Attitude certainly helps!  I'm happy to pray for Liz.

It is difficult when you are hit with one issue after another.  I will pray for Liz.

Liz has my PRAYERS!!!!

Liz Carter is a top producing agent in MY market.  She is a tough business person and a lot of people look up to her.  My guess is that it will take a lot more than a couple of surgeries and pnemonia to do any  more than just slow Liz down...

We'll be keeping her and her family in our thoughts. Thanks for bringing this to people's attention.

How nice of you to share her story - I don't know Liz well.......but will go check out the link you have there.........I'm so sorry for all the challenges she's facing right now........definitely will be praying......GBU Jason.!

Thanks for posting this Jason. I didn't realize she was back in the hospital again. I had chatted back and forth with her on facebook a week or so ago and found out how serious she had been in. Now this?

Hi Jason - I spoke with Liz this past Sunday, she sounded a little weak, but determined.  She shared her story....she is an incredible woman and I, among many, wish her lots more years of enjoying life!  I'm sure your post has brought a big smile to her beautiful face.  Thanks

I have missed seeing Liz around here and am saddened to hear of her struggles.  I've had the pleasure of speaking with her before and will attest to the fact that she is every bit the hoot you would expect her to be.  My thoughts and best wishes are with her.  If you are reading, Liz, please get well soon so you can come liven this place back up.

It is a phenominal free website (run by donations) where a person or their friend or family member can update everyone at one time about the progress of their recovery. It is also a place where the person who is recoverying can receive well wishes from their friends across the globe. www.caringbridge.org  Best of luck to Liz, she seems to have a great attitude, and a good friend in you.

We all pray for Liz, I have seen her listings and eventhough I have not worked with her, knows she is a wonderful person. I have showed some of her listings in Katy and west Houston, TX and her staff is great!!! I hope things go well for her. Thanks for the post.

Jason, Praying for Liz that God will confort her, and heal her throughout this ordeal.   In our family it is known all too well how an illness can cause so many issues, I pray that God also takes care of those issues that may come up.  We do not know what they are, but He does and will take care of Liz.  Thank you for posting this and for being a wonderful friend to Liz.

I'm so sorry about Liz.  I don't know her, but I will sure keep her in my prayers.  She sounds like a wonderful person.  Get Better Liz. 

Im devasted to hear something like that. I will definitely be praying for her! From what I see, she's is one tough cookie and can fight her way through anything! With everyone on AR praying for her, I know she will be just fine :)

Thanks for sharing this.  I will remember her in my prayers. Most people don't know it but pneumonia has a 10% mortality rate.  It comes upon you very quickly and leaves you fatigued for months afterward.  I had it a few years ago, and it really disrupted everything in my life.  I empathize.

Jason, Liz called me this week as she was being checked in to the hospital.  She knew that we had to put our dog down and called to check on me.  What an incredible lady!  She knew I was upset about our Abby and just called to give me some encouraging words.  I'm planning on calling her tomorrow to see how she is progressing.

Jason - Liz commented on my very first post here on AR and I was so delighted with her comments that I became a Liz Carter fan.  She is very supportive and just so much fun.

I do believe in the power of prayer.  I am also a bit of a naturalist.  There is a great book Natural Prescriptions with natural cures. Or something like that.  Vitamin World sells it.  If she was really careful with her diet she would experience hugh success.  In this book for Hepatitis or what ever you have you look up the illness and it gives you a list of things not to eat and things to eat.  Also vitamins and herbs that will help the body heal it self.  Its an amazing book, I brought  down my blood pressure and chostral with just diet change.  Hope that helps and I will send out a prayer.

So very true, my own family has benefited from the prayers of others here. No doubt, Liz will be in my prayers!  

Jason, I love Liz too. I hate hearing that she is still having problems. I heard from Marchel yesterday that she was going back into the hospital. It's just not fair! We have to get her well. Liz lights up a room with her smile. She wrote a post the other day and said she was feeling much better. I will pray hard and with the power of prayer she'll recover quickly.

Jason we just heard last night that Ms. Liz was not doing well and is in need of our prayers. Prayer is powerful and we need for Ms. Liz's healing for her family and our family here at AR. She is so special to all of us not only here in TX but The AR Familly. We thought after she posted a blog last week she was well on her way to recovery.  (Ceil)

Brilliantly written post as always...you have the talent to say something, get to the point without being overly length, as you know I am !  Thank you for posting this, the more prayers and positive thoughts out there are ALL GOOD!!!

I just got home from the hospital today, Friday, so this was one of my shorter stays and feeling pretty good.  I'm recovered for all the surgeries so now just focused on getting my lungs in better shape.  I still thing the Interferon treatment I had to take for the Hep. C caused my immune system to just be shot to hell.  It did work and my blood work shows there is no more virus in my blood, they refer to it as "being negative or viral load at 0...guess that's the same as being in remission.  Since I had to get off the treatment early there still is a 50% chance the virus is hiding in my body somewhere and will come back.  My body just could not take the treatment any more + I'm going with the 50% chance IT WILL NOT COME BACK., of course.
