In case you didn't already know, Ken Cook and I have been hosting a one-hour show called Twitter
Tuesday every week at 11am Central (noon Eastern, 9am Pacific) on BlogTalkRadio. We have a guest or two each time, and we talk about various social media topics and using them to grow your business. Sometimes, we just riff on each other and use funny sound effects and music to make each other laugh. It pretty much depends on our mood.
We were excited to set a new "live" listener record last week, with 87 people during the hour. That show had 181 listeners total (includes the archive). We are averaging 159 listeners per show for 2009, which is great. I think tomorrow we will shatter our record once again. Even more importantly, I see the same people returning after hearing the show a time or two, which is perhaps the best gauge of all.
This week, our guest will be Rick Abbott, who has over 19,000 followers on Twitter! He is ranked #12 on Twinfluence, with a "reach" of over 12,000,000 now. His new site, www.thedigitallife.net, is "technology for the non-geek".
Here's Ken's audio preview of tomorrow's show:

19K followers on Tiwtter? Good grief. I don't think I could keep track of that many people.
Jesse - I don't think he does either. I have nearly 4,000 myself, but I don't even attempt to keep up with all of them.
Hi Jason, i am planning to tunre in and thanks for the invite! (I am actually going to visit via my iphone!)
Russell - Let me know if it works for you. I would love to know for future reference (for myself and for marketing the show).
Thanks, I will try and remember to log on to this and see what I can learn and contribute
At a certain point it's just names flashing by on the screen. I like it for keeping up with friends, etc. I don't know.. perhaps I'm not using it to its full potential. I do need to check out your show though... sounds like you guys have a good time.
Jason, If I can, I will be there...

Jason,
I will have to catch it in the archive. It is good to be busy so I have to make the most of it.
Jason - It looks like I'll have to listen to the taped version, again. Oh well, maybe next week! :)
I think that I'll be on for a cameo listening....I've rearranged my schedule so that I can partake in, at least, part of it. See you then.
Sounds like the show is a lot of fun. Will have to eke out ome time to listen in the near future. Still am not on Twitter. Guess I better get with the program. Best of luck.
Jason, I will miss you today. I have to go and sell a house, go figure work is cramping my social network style, sheesh ;0). I am thinking it will be recorded and will listen later. You all have fun today - say hi to my friends in the chat room.
Jason, our team meeting is this morning at 9:30, but I am going to try to be ready (11:00 Central, I believe). Even if I am late, I hope to be there.....I'm sure it will be fun and informative.
Hey Jason - It sounds interesting. I'll have to remember to tune in this afternoon.
Jason,
I used to want to be a DJ when I was a kid. I used to use my 2 cassette tape radio to record sounds on the radio, record my own show and stuff. It was a blast. I guess I'd still love to do that. Don't forget about us when get big and stuff. :)
I think I missed this, dang, hope to hear the next one.
Greg - I can relate. I did the same thing when I was a kid!
Kim - You can listen to the recording of the show(s) anytime here: http://blogtalkradio.com/jckc
I am happy you are having success with your show! I have been very busy lately (and thrilled to say so) but will look forward to the next one!!!
Cool Jason and good luck on setting those records. I hope to tune in and check it out.
Mel - Keep in mind that you can listen to any of the shows via archive recording whenever you do have time - just FYI. Glad to hear that you've been busy! Me, too!
Charles - You can listen at your leisure via the recordings on the page if your schedule won't allow you to join us "live". Hope you enjoy it!
I'll have to listen to shows on replay. Each Tuesday I meet with Loreena Yeo from 11 am until about 1 or so.
Hi Jason,
Yyou have really grown since the first show. Great to see.
I am still trying to figure out Twitter. I don't know how you have the time man.
Just wanted to say I loved your show. Honestly, I didn't think I would have that much fun listening and chatting. But it was fun.
Jason... Great show this morning (Twitter Tuesday). Very fun... I'm glad I found it. Thanks for posting.
